The lessor is asking me to vacate the house for the reason of not renewing the lease. What can I do?

The lessor is asking me to vacate the house, citing the following clause, even though I have not sublet the property. What can be done in that case?

Clause - "Article (20) paragraph (3) of Law No. (20) of 2006 on the rental of premises and the regulation of rental relations between lessors and tenants in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi."

Based on your explanation, if you have not sublet the property, then the landlord’s attempt to evict you under Article 20(3) of Abu Dhabi Law No. 20 of 2006 is not legally justified, as this clause only applies when a tenant sublets the premises without the landlord’s written consent.

Hi.

Thanks for the response.

I have already emailed them denying these allegations and have also asked them to share with me the evidence for the same.

However, till now I haven't received any reply from them.

Can you tell me how the complaint is filed, and do I need to get a lawyer for the same, and what will be the charges?

If you have not sublet the property, the landlord has no valid ground to ask you to vacate based on that reason.
