Additionally, what must be included in the offer letter when hiring a Grade 11 homeschool student to work remotely part-time for 4 hours a day, 5 days a week?
Lastly, what requirements must be fulfilled through local Emiratization to start the work permit process after issuing an offer letter?

س: مرحبًا،
أنا محاسبة، وقد بدأت عملي بموجب عقد غير محدد المدة في شركة دبي أ. أ. شركة ذات مسؤولية محدودة في 30/9/2017، ولكن تأشيرة العمل بتاريخ 16/11/2017، وختمت التأشيرة بتاريخ 14/1/2018.
طبقًا للعقد الخاص بي، فإن الراتب الأساسي 3500 + 250 تأمين صحي + 250 بدل انتقال. من فبراير 2018 وإلى الآن، رفعت الشركة راتبي إلى 4500 بناءً على أدائي الجيد، ولكن في 16/7/2018 أنهوا عقد العمل الخاص بي عن طريق الواتساب دون فترة إخطار.
والسبب هو ركود السوق، لذا فسيوظفون محاسبًا ليعمل بنظام الدوام الجزئي. لقد ذهبت إلى العمل هناك في 17/7، لكنهم لم يسمحوا لي بالعمل.
علاوة على ذلك، واجهت في هذا الشهر الكثير من الأذى والمضايقات النفسية من زميلي (وقريبتي) بدون سبب. أدركت لاحقاً أنهم قاموا بكل هذا الأذى عن قصد حتى أقوم بتقديم استقالتي.
لكنني عانينت. سيدفعون فقط 15 يوما من راتب شهر يوليو ولن يدفعوا أي مستحقات أخرى. لقد أهانوني عندما طلبت حقوقي في آخر محادثة للتسوية بتاريخ 18.07.2018.
رفعت قضية عليهم بعد ذلك وجلسة الاستماع بتاريخ 21/7/2018. ما هي حقوقي في هذه الحالة؟ وما هي التسوية الإجمالية وفقًا للقانون الإماراتي؟

Please advise if it is possible to provide medical insurance to an Emirati employee who works 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, under a 2-year work permit, partial contract, with registered pension contributions under the company.
Also, are there any other medical options available for Emirati employees in such a partial contract arrangement?

Hello,
I was driving my car when the police stopped me at one point on the road and told me that I was driving under the influence of alcohol.
I tried hard to deny that because I had not actually consumed any alcoholic beverages that day or in the previous three days.
However, a report was filed and a case was opened, but the alcohol test report came back negative. Will I be convicted despite that?

Am I required to replace an old fridge owned by the landlord if it can't be repaired?
Hello,
My rental here in Dubai comes with a fridge and cooker. I believe these to be at least 10 years old. The fridge has now stopped working and requires a part to be replaced.
This comes at a cost of 540 AED, which is over the agreed amount that I am responsible for. My Ejari comes with an extra addendum provided by the landlord, which states:
1. The landlord is responsible for major maintenance of the apartment (namely structural, electrical, and plumbing) exceeding 500 AED + 5% VAT. The tenant is responsible for any minor maintenance as needed as a result of wear and tear.
2. The property is leased with the following assets (fridge and cooker) owned by the landlord in working condition and should be returned in the same condition. Any maintenance required is the tenant’s responsibility.
My question is:
If I'm unable to fix this fridge, do I have to provide a new one? The company looking to repair the fridge is having an issue finding the part needed, as it is old.

I recently purchased a rented apartment in Abu Dhabi and agreed to honor the existing lease. After the transfer, I discovered that the lease is not a Tawtheeq contract, meaning it is not officially registered.
Since I am not receiving rent (as it was a non-refundable arrangement with the seller), I prefer not to issue a new Tawtheeq. I also want to avoid a formal notice to vacate to prevent disputes, as I plan to move in.
However, I have already informed the tenant that I will not be renewing the lease. I need legal advice on the implications of proceeding without a Tawtheeq contract.
What are my risks, especially if the tenant refuses to move out?
What legal actions, if any, can the tenant take in this situation?

What to do if you get terminated and denied gratuity for a minor mistake?
My brother has been working for a company for 11 years. In the last 3 weeks, he had an incident/accident and scratched a plane since he only had 1 person to assist him as the company was not hiring enough people.
Senior staff like him are working more to train inexperienced new hires which adds to their workload working almost 12 hours/day including travel to DWC.
The pilot said it was aesthetic and could be painted over but a police investigation ensued. Last week 3 managers and HR talked him down as the investigation concluded.
He was terminated immediately with only this month's pay and his 11-year gratuity will not be given by the company. It was not gross negligence or malicious intent, he just didn’t have enough people to help him.
He owned up to the mistake and reported the incident within 24 hours. Can he fight for the gratuity?

My husband had a judgment where he was found not guilty, as the misdemeanor court stated that it doubts the charges against the accused and found no conclusive evidence except the statements in the report files.
The court considered this invalid because there was no translator. After this, if the Public Prosecution appeals, will the verdict remain unchanged and be upheld if there is nothing more than this

Do I have to pay a penalty if terminated after completing my contract period?
Sir,
As per my contract period, they mentioned that if I leave the company before 1 year, I have to pay 5000 dirhams. But I have already completed more than 1 year and 3 months.
