Q: Dear Sir/ Madam,
In my offer letter, the designation is Accounts Manager; however, since I have not attested degree certificates the employer promised to give me Archive Clerk Visa. They took my thumb impression and signature on blank paper and later they issued me a Messenger Profession Visa.
When I inquired about the same and refused to accept the Messenger Visa, they are blaming me that I agreed to this Messenger Visa and asked me to pay the visa costs and leave.
I sent the resignation and agreed to pay the visa cost, but the visa cost is double what they have quoted.
Note: the visa is not stamped on my passport. Will I get any ban from MOL, if the visa is cancelled?

Significance of the job title and designation on labour contract

Q: I had signed an unlimited contract with a Dubai based company.
In the offer letter, I was given a designation as Business Manager with salary AED 30,000/month. However, in the MOHRE contract, my designation is showing Sales Executive having 4th/5th level skill.
When I inquired from them, they told me that the designation in MOHRE contract will not have any adverse effect during my stay in Dubai and they have mentioned 4th/5th level skill in the contract because my certificates ( B Tech ) are not HRD attested ( in India ) and they will not be able to wait for long for this attestation.
My questions are:-
a) Is this procedure legal i.e. getting a person of Engineering degree in 4th/5th level skill set?
b) Will it be possible to change the skill level in MOHRE contract if I get my degree attested by HRD and UAE consulate after I land in Dubai?
c) What are the possible issues that I will face?

لقد استلمت مؤخرًا عرض عمل، ولدي سؤالين بشأنه.
1. المسمى الوظيفي المنصوص عليه في عرض العمل هو "مهندس"، بينما المسمى الوظيفي في عقد عمل وزارة العمل هو "مندوب مبيعات".
بعد التواصل مع قسم الموارد البشرية في الشركة للتوضيح، أخبروني أنهم أصدروا التأشيرة بمهنة " مندوب مبيعات" بسبب التوطين "الأمرتة" ولإصدار التأشيرة بصورة أسرع، ثم بعد مرور ستة أشهر أو سنة فيمكن أن أتواصل معهم ويتم تغيير المسمى الوظيفي المنصوص عليه في عقد العمل الخاص بوزارة العمل.
سؤالي هنا هو هل يمكن أن يتم تعديل الوصف الوظيفي المنصوص عليه في عقد العمل في المستقبل، وما مدى سهولة أو صعوبة عمل ذلك؟ ما هي العيوب (إذا وجدت) والتي من الممكن أن أواجهها إذا حصلت على تأشيرة بمهنة "مندوب مبيعات"؟
2. لقد قم بالتوقيع على عقد العمل الصادر من وزارة العمل وأرسلته إلى الشركة، لقد مرت سبعة أيام ولا أزال أنتظر الموافقة على تصريح العمل. أليس هذا بطيء بعض الشي بالنسبة للحصول على موافة تصريح العمل؟ عقدي هو عقد محدد المدة.

لقد تم تعييني كمصمم UX. خلال المكالمات الهاتفية والمقابلات، أوضحت أنني أريد وظيفة كمصمم UX. لقد أعطوني خطاب عرض لوظيفة مصمم UX.
عندما انضممت، بدأوا يجبروني على أن أكون مصمم جرافيك. ظللت هادئًا وحاولت قصارى جهدي للتكيف لمدة أسبوعين. نظرًا لأنني لم أتمكن من التكيف، قلت للموارد البشرية إنني مصمم UX وأرغب في العمل على نفس الوظيفة.
الآن هم سينهون خدمتي. أنا لا أعرف ما يجب القيام به. أشعر أنه تم خداعي.

What to do if my job description on the visa is housemaid and I work as personal assistant?

Q: I worked here in the UAE for 5 months and I have my visa as a housemaid but my work is not a housemaid. I'm a personal assistant.
Prior to my work, I did not sign any job offer or any contract until now.
If I resign from my work, is there a violation I will make or is there any monetary compensation that I need to pay to my employer?

Hello,
My employer fired me under Article 44 for not showing up for work for 7 days in a row. But that’s not the case at all. I was sick and the management was aware and they let me go.
I went to another country to get treatment because it’s expensive in Dubai. My employer did not pay me my salary for the month I worked and fired me.
I have official sick leave from another country and there is correspondence where my employer sent me to another country for treatment.
The problem is that the employer says that he will take compensation for the training that was specified in the contract, but I did not undergo training at all; I immediately started work from the first day of work and there was no training.
Does my employer have the right to charge me such a fee and not pay my salary?

How to cancel the MoU to buy an apartment with the broker if the bank did not approve the loan? 0
Hi,
I have a situation where I signed an MoU and gave my security deposit to the seller's agent. However later, the bank valuation of the property is lower than the selling price.
On my MoU, it has a clause that “the buyer has a right to cancel/negotiate if the bank valuation is not the same as MoU.” I tried to negotiate, however, we didn't agree on the price so I asked to cancel.
Now the agent is threatening me that they will not cancel the MoU and that will deposit my cheque. Later I also came to know that the person I am dealing with is not the same person whose name is mentioned as a broker in the MoU.
The agent I am dealing with is constantly messaging me with threats. I decided not to speak to him and instead, I wrote an email to the broker whose name is mentioned on the MoU but received no response.
I am on a very tight timeline as I need to vacate my apartment in 3 weeks, I found another unit but I don't know if I can pursue this while the initial MoU still not canceled.
Please, I need advice.
