س: طاب صباحك، لدينا شركة في مدينة الشارقة للإعلام (شمس). جاء شريكي التجاري، البالغ من العمر 29 عامًا، من دولة الهند، إلى هنا العام الماضي في شهر نوفمبر 2020 للحصول على تأشيرة شريك. لكن لسوء الحظ، كان غير لائق طبيًا وتم ترحيله بعد القيام بكافة الإجراءات الرسمية لإصابته بفيروس نقص المناعة البشرية. لكن في الوقت الحالي أصبح شريكي في العمل على ما يرام تمامًا بعد تلقي العلاج لمدة 6-7 أشهر وحصل على شهادة لياقة من هيئة الصحة أيضًا. إنه بخير تمامًا الآن ولا يمكن الكشف عن المرض، أي أنه غير معدٍ. هل يمكنه العودة؟ إذا كانت الإجابة بنعم، يرجى إخباري بكيفية متابعة الإجراءات. لقد أقام بالفعل في إمارة دبي لمدة 5-6 سنوات. نريد رفع قرار ترحيله حتى يتمكن من العودة إلى دبي. مع خالص تحياتي، ك. م.

I received a termination letter from my company for restructuring. Is this considered arbitrary dismissal?

I received a termination letter from my company on January 31st, 2025, with a one-month notice period, stating my last working day as February 28th, 2025. The reason given for the termination is "considering the current business scenario, the company has considered measures to reorganize the business." Could this be considered arbitrary dismissal? Am I entitled to any compensation or benefits from the company as a result of this termination?

Do I need to hire a lawyer if I found I have a marital case against me in the court?

By checking in Al Adheed, I have found there is a marital matter case against me in Dubai Courts. There is a hearing date for next week and the time mentioned in the case status with a link for an online hearing. However, I have not received any message from Dubai courts regarding this by mail or phone. I have all contact details updated with EID. In this case, what should I do? I don’t know what the case is about. Should I hire a lawyer or I can attend the hearing by myself? Please do suggest options.

I purchased a tour voucher from a holiday agency in Dubai in 2023 worth AED 4239.00, but was not able to use it due to a visa problem. I have constant email and communication through phone with them, and they informed me back then that my voucher will be available and has no expiration date that I can use anytime I want. Now I wanted to use it, so I called them last Saturday, 31st May 2025, and they told me it has already expired due to the new policy. Can I still claim and ask for my money back?

Landlord cashed my rent but won’t renew Ejari unless I accept a higher deposit. What should I do?

Hello, I had a rental dispute case with my landlord. Based on the judgment, I paid the entire rent to the landlord, which the landlord has already cashed. He is not issuing the Ejari because he wants to increase the security deposit by 10% every year, which I am not accepting. I have already given the 5% security deposit. The landlord is not accepting it. He is forcing me to sign a new agreement, otherwise he will not renew the lease agreement. Please let me know what I should do.

Cargo from Dubai to India arrived late and damaged. What should I do?

Hello, I had sent a cargo from Dubai to India. I received the cargo late and with 35% damage. My TV, for which I had paid AED 1500 separately as cargo fees, was received after nearly 2 months in a completely damaged condition. The cooking range was received after nearly 6 months and had superficial damage. They are not replying to my emails but are only responding through WhatsApp. Could anyone please guide me?
