We received a cheque which has now bounced. We have tried for over a month and a half now to get a new cheque from the person, and every day he says the next day. We need the money now. We have been to the police station, and they said they can not do anything as the reason the cheque bounced is "Insufficient funds." We have been to Al Barsha - Dubai Courts, and they said there is nothing they can do about it. We are not sure what we can do. We need the money asap to pay our kids' school fees, let alone all the interest we have lost.

Hello I joined my new company on February 26, 2025. Upon joining the new company, I asked HR if it was free to join the company, and she said yes. After working with them for 1 month, I experienced a salary delay, and I had to go to the office to ask why there was a delay in my salary. Dear Sir/Madam, Is it possible to resign on probation and return to home country? I came here to join a company on November 1, 2022, and I got my Emirates ID on February 2, 2023. Now I want to resign because I am unable to adjust to the company's work culture and unprofessional behavior. I am planning to go back to my home country, Bangladesh. I want to know how long I can stay after canceling the visa and if there is any obligation that could be created by my employer. As I bear my all costs by myself coming over to Dubai, they only provide the company's visa cost.  Thank you!

Salam, I received an email at 8.25 am stating that my first hearing is at 9 am, but I read this email at 10 am. Is there any issue as I've filed a case against my employer for salary? Submitted a resignation letter to my employer, but he rejected claiming for AED 10,000 before he cancels my visa and gives me my passport (he is holding my passport). 10 months of working with him (already completed my 3 months probation). There's also a breach of the contract: 1. Working not on the agreed hours (No overtime compensation paid). 2. Salary delay every month. Any advice to take him on through the appropriate quarters to get my visa canceled and get back my passport? He is claiming 10,000 before he gives me my passport and cancels my visa.
