أنا موظف أعمل لدى شركة خاصة بموجب عقد عمل غير محدد المدة. لقد استقلت من وظيفتي وينص عقد العمل الخاص بي على أن فترة الإشعار مدتها 60 يومًا، ومع ذلك، أريد العمل لمدة 30 يومًا فقط بسبب مشاكل أخرى.
تجبرني الشركة على العمل لمدة 60 يومًا كاملة. هل يمكنني تقديم "تعويض بدلاً من فترة الإشعار" وقضاء فترة إشعار مدتها 30 يومًا أو هل يمكن أن تفرض عليّ الشركة (إذا أرادت) حرمانًا لمدة عام واحد؟

أنا مهتم بخدمات مراجعة العقود واستشارات قانونية.
أرغب في الحصول على بعض النصائح/مزيد من التفاصيل حول "التعويض بدلاً من الإشعار" وفقًا للفقرة الأولى من المادة 117 من القانون الاتحادي رقم 8 لسنة 1980 في شأن علاقات العمل والذي يمنح الموظفين القدرة على إنهاء العقد طالما أنهم يعوضون صاحب العمل.
في حالتي، لقد أمضيت بالفعل فترة إشعار مدتها شهر واحد بعد استقالتي ولكن لا يزال أمامي شهر آخر، ولأسباب شخصية (العودة إلى وطني)، أرغب في تعويض الشركة (في المنطقة الحرة) والمغادرة على الفور لأن سفري في أمر عاجل.
هل سيكون من الممكن ذلك؟

أنا أعمل لدى شركة تجارة إلكترونية. لقد أرسلت خطاب الاستقالة للشركة مع فترة إشعار مدتها شهر واحد. ولكن ينص عقد العمل الخاص بي على ما يلي:
يتعين على الموظف إرسال إشعار كتابي قبل 60 يومًا إلى صاحب العمل لإنهاء هذا العقد. في حالة إرسال الموظف إشعارًا بالاستقالة، سينتهي هذا العقد ("تاريخ الإنهاء") بعد 60 يومًا من تاريخ نفاذ الاستقالة ("تاريخ الاستقالة").
من وقت إرسال الإشعار حتى تاريخ الإنهاء، يجب على الموظف أن يتعاون في جميع النواحي من أجل القيام بمهام الشركة خلال الفترة الانتقالية بطريقة احترافية بما يتناسب مع الوظيفة الحالية للموظف في الشركة.
يجوز للشركة والموظف، الاتفاق المتبادل على جعل تاريخ الإنهاء ساريًا خلال مدة أقصر من شهرين من تاريخ الاستقالة.
من فضلك، هل يمكنك تقديم بعض الاقتراحات بشأن كيفية ترك العمل لدى الشركة الحالية؟

I’m quitting my job with a 90-day notice period, but I’m only going to work for 30 days of the notice period.
Should the compensation for the remaining days be calculated according to my MOL contract, or can they force me to also pay what was mentioned in the offer letter as extra expenses such as transportation fees and overtime?

Q: Hi there.
I have resigned in March. My last day is June 12th. When I finish I will have completed 11 months.
I have offered compensation in lieu of notice. My company has rejected it.
Is this legal for them to reject?
Secondly - as said the last day is June 12th. My employer told me today they will not pay me my May salary in May.
Instead, they will hold it and pay in my settlement in June. Is this legal?
I work in a free zone but their employment rights they have said are as per MOHRE.

I visited a salon for a colouring treatment, during which two rounds of bleach, which is not what I booked in for, were given to me without proper approvals, and were applied back-to-back without a strand test or proper consultation.
As a result, I’ve been experiencing extreme hair breakage, daily hair loss, and ongoing scalp irritation. This has been especially distressing as I’m currently pregnant.
It’s now been over 20 days since the incident, and despite multiple polite follow-ups, the salon has ignored all communication.
I’m now exploring legal action to pursue compensation for the physical and emotional distress caused. I have full documentation, messages, and photos.
Any guidance on the best next steps or legal routes I can take would be greatly appreciated.

What can I do if the landlord has not been responding to renew the commercial lease contract and Ejari? 0
Good day.
For the last 3 years, the landlord's office has not responded to renew the contract, so I contacted RERA for renewal.
The office doesn't respond to emails related to renewal, even though I started sending emails and reminders 2 to 3 months before expiry, and I have no choice but to contact RERA and send a notice.
Once the renewal was processed by law, the landlord's office delayed in releasing the Ejari. Since it is a commercial property, my renewals are related to a staff visa, and I have to pay delay penalties.
The landlord's office staff tried to take advantage of the Emirati owner, and no direct meeting was fruitful.
What is the law that safeguards expats and sorts out issues without mutual compromise as they try to force their terms to be acceptable by law and not supported by any documentation?

By checking in Al Adheed, I have found there is a marital matter case against me in Dubai Courts. There is a hearing date for next week and the time mentioned in the case status with a link for an online hearing.
However, I have not received any message from Dubai courts regarding this by mail or phone. I have all contact details updated with EID. In this case, what should I do?
I don’t know what the case is about.
Should I hire a lawyer or I can attend the hearing by myself?

My wife got her maternity leave after she gave birth prematurely. Can her company pay her only half a salary? 0
