أدعى هـ. س. وأنا من الهند.
أعمل في فندق في أبو ظبي وقد طُلب مني مؤخرًا مغادرة الشركة بسبب إعادة هيكلتها.
أخبروني أنه يجب أن أجد وظيفة أخرى خلال الشهرين المقبلين وبعد ذلك يجب أن أغادر المكان وإنهاء عقدي.
أريد فقط أن أعرف ما هي الفوائد التي يحق لي الحصول عليها قبل أن أغادر.

س: طاب يومك،
لدي سؤال حول إنهاء عقد العمل الخاص بي في دولة الإمارات.
لقد تم إخطاري شفهيًا بإنهاء عقد العمل الخاص بي بسبب الزيادة عن حاجة العمل في السادس من أكتوبر دون طلب قضاء فترة الإشعار. ينص عقد العمل على قضاء فترة إشعار مدتها شهرين.
لم يتم تقديم الإشعار الكتابي إلا في الرابع من ديسمبر. ترفض الشركة دفع مكافأة نهاية الخدمة وبدل الإجازة خلال فترة الإشعار وسيتم حساب المستحقات حتى يوم السادس من أكتوبر فقط.
هل هذا الحساب صحيح؟ كيف سيؤثر عدم استلام إشعار كتابي على هذا الأمر، حيث أعتقد أن فترة الإشعار يجب أن تبدأ عند استلام هذا الإشعار؟
ثانيًا، الخطاب الخاص بالزيادة عن حاجة عن العمل الذي كان بعنوان "إشعار للزيادة عن حاجة العمل"، تم تسميته "إعادة الهيكلة الضرورية".
اكتشفت بعد ذلك أنه تم تعيين شخص آخر في منصبي ولكن تم تغيير المسمى الوظيفي.
يبدو أن التسلسل الإداري ومسؤوليات العمل ستظل كما هي بناءً على ما سمعته من زملائي السابقين.
هل يُعد هذا فصلاً تعسفيًا؟

I have received an employment termination letter due to company restructuring.
This was done without prior notice, and I am currently completing a one-month grace period. I have not used any of my annual leave, and I have been working here for nine months.
Could you please let me know what sort of compensation I am supposed to receive?

What are my rights as an employee terminated without prior notice?

Q: Hello,
I received a termination letter from my company three weeks ago stating that the reason for my termination was company restructuring.
This was done without prior notice, and my last working day is August 10th. I believe this falls under arbitrary termination. However, I do not want to file a case with the labor court and would like to discuss my compensation with HR directly.
I have been working here for 10 months (so I will not receive gratuity), and I have not used any of my annual leaves since September 2022 (the month I joined).
Could you please let me know what compensation I could demand from HR in this case?

On November 6, 2023, I received a termination letter from management citing restructuring, and they provided me with a one-month notice.

Q: Greetings!
I just want to ask for clarification.
My company renewed my visa three months ago, but now I am being terminated because I am an existing staff member.
This is because our department will no longer remain beyond the end of December 2024 due to a management change.
The company informed me of my termination only four days ago, but I have a three-month notice period.
Is it correct that if I leave before completing the three-month notice, I will have to pay a penalty?
Or, since they are terminating me, am I entitled to complete the three-month notice period without any penalties?
I just want to understand my rights regarding this situation.

Q: My employer signed a visa renewal form at the end of my contract and now when 15 days are left in my residency expiration, they want to terminate me.
What are my rights in this case?
Can't they not terminate me and at the end of the contract just say that my contract is finished and we don't want you anymore?
What about my notice period and what are my rights in this situation?

Can I request reopening a civil case if the judgment was in my absence due to sending notices to the wrong address? 0
Lawyers misunderstood my question. Please read carefully and then guide me.
Case Type: Civil Case
Claim amount: 400,000
Paid: 65,000
Reason: Commercial agreement of supply
Emirate: Ajman
This case was registered in 2022. The judgment was in my absence, as notices were sent to the wrong address.
I was sent to jail. I made a down payment, bailed, and paid some more amount as installments. The total paid amount is AED 65000.
Now, again, an arrest warrant is issued as I did not pay the remaining 335,000 of the claim.
According to me, I had to pay only this amount because the executioner made a wrong claim, not as per the genuine claim.
So I want to reopen the case file.
I want the court to reinvestigate and start the case from scratch.
1) How can I make that request?
2) What documents are required?
3) Chances of reopening of case?
4) Cancellation of arrest warrant
Please guide me in detail, as I will do everything myself, as I cannot afford a lawyer right now.

I booked a hotel stay for Eid through a travel agency two weeks before Eid. The travel agency confirmed the booking on payment.
One day before Eid, the agency reached out, saying they had an issue with the supplier/hotel and the booking would be cancelled.
They offered alternative hotels that didn’t match the original property. I suggested some properties, and they couldn’t arrange them, or they asked for further payment, so I didn’t book anything through them.
What are my rights to a refund and compensation, as I had to book other arrangements separately at a significantly higher cost due to the last-minute prices?
It also caused significant emotional distress, less than 24 hours before the holiday. To which authority can a complaint be made in case of an unsatisfactory outcome?
Both the agency and the hotel are in Dubai.

How can I renew my Ejari if the landlord hasn’t signed the new contract? 0
Hi,
I have been here for 3 years now and paid the increased amount (as per the agreement) for the 4th year.
However, the landlord did not send me back the signed contract, although I have both made the payment for the full year via bank transfer and sent my signed contract to him.
I need to renew my Ejari; however, how can I do it without the landlord's signature?
I have all the previous contracts signed by both parties, along with the Ejari for those contracts.
