My visa is for clerk archives, I already completed 1 year last July 2018. I'm planning to resign. Will I get a labour ban?

Our field of work is making signage painting murals and installing decor mostly, in my visa it's entitled clerk archives.

I want to resign to apply for a freelance visa.

My contract is unlimited.
