Based on your situation, the lawyer you hire will give you insightful and actionable recommendations on how to protect your concept/invention, if the same is possible.

This service is right for you if you would like to protect your invention or concept and need professional assessment and advice on the best way to do this.

What’s included

• 2-hour advice session with the IP specialist. The advice session can be in the form of a personal or online meeting.
• Written summary. A brief with recommendations provided by the lawyer during the advice session will be sent to you by email for your future reference and guidance.
• Confidentiality. Before the session, your lawyer will sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with you to protect all documents you share and everything you discuss with them.
• Discount on further assistance. If within six months you decide to hire the lawyer further for any of the IP filings, the amount paid for this advice session will be deducted from the next invoice.

What’s not included

• Any additional advice or work by the attorney beyond the two-hour advice session.
• Preparing or filing of any applications pertaining to IP.
• Long distance telephone calls. If you are based outside the UAE then probably you will need to call the lawyer yourself, or agree on some other way of voice communication.
