س: مرحبًا، لدي استفسار. أبرمت عقد عمل مونتاج لمسلسل تلفزيوني. حدث تأخُّر كبير في تسليم الحلقات وأخطاء ومشاكل كبيرة بالحلقات المسلّمة. وفي هذه الحالة، وجب تطبيق الشرط الجزائي المتَّفق عليه بالعقد بقيمة 1000 دولار مثلاً. إذا كان متبقي للشخص المتعاقَد معه بحسب العقد دفعة أخيرة لما بعد التسليم بقيمة 500 دولار، فهل تُخصَم في هذه الحالة من قيمة الشرط الجزائي أم يسقط حقه في الدفعة الأخيرة ويُطالَب بدفع الشرط الجزائي بالكامل؟ Questions & Answers

Cancellation of a purchased property SPA and refund for handover delay
Q: I purchased an off-plan apartment from a developer with payments plan 20/80. I have paid 20% so far plus 4% DLD. The developer has not given me my land registration yet. According to my SPA, the property handover is supposed to be in Q1 2020. I received a notice that the new completion date is now Q1 2021 but is doubtful.
