Can companies deduct deportation ticket costs from salary?

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, My brother is getting deported on Monday due to ill health. He worked for the company for two and a half months. Usually, as far as I know, the company should pay for the ticket, but his company is deducting it from his salary. Can you please help me understand these deportation rules?

I received a legal notice from my creditor. How can I make a settlement to pay?

Q: I received a legal notice as I owed money to a friend. During corona, and for the last 2 years, I don`t have a stable job, not receiving a salary on time. I told my friend that I cannot commit to that time. However, recently in the last 2 months, I got a job and I explicitly told her to allow me to start next month. I replied to the legal firm confirming I received the notice and also send them proof that I don`t have the capability of paying that on time. I am in the right way of responding to the legal firm and sending all proof of my income. I even have open communication with her. I never blocked her and I have the intention to pay. I should have left the UAE and disappeared. I requested for amicable settlement as they requested to pay back the money (AED 25K) in 5 days, that`s the reason I explained and attached a financial statement to prove that I am not receiving a fixed but a late salary from my previous company. Seeking your advice.

How can I negotiate with the bank regarding credit card if I lost my job?

Q: Hi, Please advise the below issue with the bank. I lost my job last 2018, and due to this, I`m not able to pay my monthly dues to the bank. I visited the bank to discuss that I have insurance for my credit card. But the bank denied that insurance and said to me that I should apply for that insurance after my company finishes my work contract. It takes me 3 months before I visit the bank to apply for the insurance. The bank sued me in a civil case. I paid the amount to the police. But the bank still forces me to pay the pending amount. I manage to pay per month since Sept 2019 and until Dec 2022. Again I lost my work last Dec 2022. I`m not able to pay now the monthly dues that the bank required. Kindly help and advise, please.

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I bought a car from a seller 10 days ago. They texted me on WhatsApp saying that the car was in good condition and didn`t require any work. They only mentioned a minor accident. However, I cannot drive the car now because the number plate was canceled during the vehicle transfer process. When I asked about the vehicle`s slow acceleration, they told me these cars are usually like that. Ten days after the name transfer, I noticed a coolant leak and went to a repair shop. The repair shop informed me of a mix-up between the coolant and the transmission oil. They advised me to take the car to a service center. However, when I went there, they informed me that they had given a quotation of 47,000 AED in December for the same issue but it was not attended to. Due to this issue, I have held the cheque from the bank to the seller and asked them to take the car back. However, they are not taking responsibility and are asking me to release the amount from the bank and get the repairs done from outside.

Q: Hello, My partner left his job in December as they were refusing to pay him his salary and refusing to pay his overstay fines although they told him they were doing so when completing the visa process. As a result, he could no longer afford to go to work while not being paid. Both he and the employer opened a case with the labor. We traveled home for Christmas and while there received a message from labor that complaints on both sides were dropped. We returned to the UAE in January and he started a new job. The new employer applied for a visa but it was denied as the previous employer reported absconding. Just wondering how to get the absconding lifted.
