Claiming compensation for arbitrary termination from employer

Q: Dear consultants, I have been terminated based on restructuring and redundancy. I am working in this free zone company for more than 10 years and had a periodic promotion in work and salary (I have an unlimited contract). 1 - Am I supposed to get 3 months salary compensation based on the arbitrary termination of an unlimited term contract, although they have mentioned 2-month salary as goodwill payment and 1 month notice period salary? 2 - They mentioned "you are entitled to 1 month notice period commencing 10 Nov-19 date and this letter constitutes such notice. you are not required to work your notice period and your last working day in the office as agreed will be 10 Nov-19, we have mutually agreed to pay your notice in lieu on or shortly after your cessation date (10 Nov-19), subset to exit clearance." In this case, can the employer still force me to work in the notice period?

Q: I hired a lawyer for debt recovery of 25,000 and they charged me around AED 10,000. AED 3,800 for the legal notice, and 1800 for negotiation, then 4000 for the settlement and exchanging a few more emails. Is that a reasonable amount as they claim? Their last charge was not communicated ahead as they claim they couldn`t anticipate the work ahead. Requirements for a free zone company to conduct business on mainland

Q: Hello, I read the law 2011 Article 14 & Article 23 that says a branch of a free zone company in the UAE is allowed to conduct business on the mainland if I get a license and open a branch. I just want to confirm, I have a Free Zone company in the UAE and I sell to other countries right now. I want to begin selling in Dubai. If I get a license from DED and open a branch on the mainland, will I be allowed to sell the clients directly or I will be allowed to sell just distributors in Dubai? The right to file divorce case for harassment by husband

Q: Salaam, I`m an Indian expatriate living and working in the UAE since June 2018. Got married on 5th September 2019 in Dubai under the Sharia law. My husband works in Dubai. I work in Ajman. We live in Ajman. My husband & his family have been harassing me for gold & money from the first day of marriage. He has been exploiting me physically, emotionally & financially. Resignation because of delaying salary and deducting visa costs in that case

Q: Dear Sir, I am working in an engineering company in the UAE. The company is not paying the salary in time; there is a delay of 2 months. My joining date is April 2019. I resigned and asked them to release me by 10th November by giving a notice of 21 days. (resigned in the 7th month). In my offer letter, it is written that if I resign within 1 year, I have to bear the visa and ticket costs. Asking an employee to pay all allowances back in case of resignation

Q: Hi all, I Have a problem. I talked with HR today as I want to resign. He told me that I need to pay all allowances back to the company (home allowance etc.)! When I checked my contract, I saw that it is mentioned that I should pay if I leave the company, but this is just the contract I signed online from a website. I`ve also signed another contract with my wet sign (which is Arabic written also and sent to the government, I think) before signing another one, In that contract, nothing is mentioned like that. So is this legal? Can they take allowances back? Doesn`t the official labor contract prevails over anything else I signed?
