Now collections agency is mailing to HR, threatening via Whatsapp & phone calls. The bounced cheque amount was 55K. Now the agency is asking nearly 300k. I understand the civil liability but what is the way out of this? Can they file a civil case and make a travel ban?

Q: Dear Sirs I will appreciate your kind advice regarding my case. I am renting from the landlord since 3 years now, all payments are done on time and even I am doing maintenance for things in my house which I am not supposed to do but to maintain the property in good shape out of goodwill. I received an email from my landlord asking for renewal as per the agreement, 3 months prior to the termination of my current contract. I visited them and handed over the new cheques for the new rental year in advance and signed the new tenancy contract. Now I discovered that he may be selling the property and may not renew my contract despite receiving my cheques and delaying EJARI renewal. I still have 2 months to go in the current contract. my question to you is, are they allowed to renew or to compensate if they already took my cheques for the new year rental and exchange of emails with the same is available? Q: Hi, My company terminated my contract on 5-01-2021 with a termination letter effective the same day. I was forced to sign that letter and leave the premises. Therefore, they were breaching the contract as the contract stipulates that 30 days notice should be given. I started working for them in 07-11-2019, due to coronavirus I accepted unpaid leave for 15 days in May, 15 days in October and a whole month in December 2020. I filed a complaint and they sent me emails telling me to accept AED 10,637.07 as a total of what they owe me. Today, they want to add AED 7000 to this total but the issue is that it is not even close to what they really owe me. End of service, annual leave (0 paid leave so I should receive the full amount), notice period salary (full amount), air ticket and compensation (1 to 3 months negotiable as per the UAE law). Labour rights of the employee after finishing limited term contract

Q: I have been working on a limited contract with a company for 4 years. I kept on renewing the same contract every 2 years (2016 to 2018 and 2018 to 2020). Two years ago, in Dec 2018, I renewed the same contract. This year, in Dec 2020 (my visa expired on 28 Dec 2020) so I completed my visa and I’m not renewing my visa. I resigned from my job and I am serving my notice period for one month. Will I get my gratuity?
