How can a victim of a crypto scam claim his money back?

Q: Good day, We are a group of people and residents of the UAE who invested in an international company that called themselves an investing company and promised their investors a big return. In the end, we realized that the company was a scheme/pyramid, but unfortunately, it was late as we faced a company scam. And we lost a lot of money. Cases were opened all over the world against them. The leaders of the company who called them "10* stars" were residents of the UAE; some of them still live here and they introduced us to Finiko schemes. We need advice on where to start the case in the UAE and what is the right department to go to as the partners who were the main people of the company are hiding in the UAE with all the money? Kindly note that all investments were done by crypto in bitcoin currency. All victims have the evidence. We have sent complaints to e-crime, but the applications of all the victims got rejected and we cannot understand why. Thanks in advance!

Is a manager of an LLC company personally liable for paying the rights of an employee?

Q: Dear sir/madam, I am a partner and a manager of a Dubai-based LLC. We lost a court case against our previous employee with 100k. The company does not have money to pay. I asked two lawyers if I am personally liable, one lawyer said no, and the other lawyer said that the judge can even arrest me or place a travel ban on me. I had the full authorization of any documents, bank transactions, or business activities. Everything was 100% on me only. Now I am totally lost on which lawyer to trust and to believe. The tenant refused the rent increase. How to evict him?

Q: Hello, The tenant of my unit in Creek Harbour refused to accept the rent increase because I informed him 85 days before the end of the contract, not 90 days. Can I appeal in RDC or not? His rent is quite low and I am looking to take him out. Can I do this by anyhow at the end of his contract? And if no and it has to be 12 months` notice, then I apply for the "want to sell" reason. Q: Dear sir/madam, In terms of calculating gratuity, do they deduct the days I was absent from work? Remember, these days while I was absent, the company deducted a day or days from my salary. For example: if I am absent for a day from work without permission, the company deducts one day or even 3 days from my salary. For the 10 years I have worked, I have been absent for 21 days from work, and all these days they deducted from my salary. Will they still deduct my gratuity? استرداد ما استقطعه صاحب العمل من الراتب طوال 36 شهرًا

س: السلام عليكم، تم إيقافي عن العمل بدون إنذار، وبسؤال صاحب العمل قال لي ليس لك عندي أي مستحقات وطردني، وللعلم لي راتب شهرين متأخرين وبدل إجازات ومستحقات. رفعت شكوى عمالية وطالبت فيها بمستحقاتي؛ من ضمنها بدل استقطاع من الراتب وهي مجموع 36 شهرًا كان صاحب العمل يستقطع من الراتب ولا يودع الراتب كاملاً. أول 6 أشهر استقطع ما أسماه تكاليف الإقامة والأشهر التي بعدها كل مرة يتحجج بضعف العمل وبجائحة كورونا والمصاريف. قضيتي الآن تحولت للمحكمة. هل أستطيع استرداد الاستقطاعات والمستحقات؟ ولكم جزيل الشكر!

The project is under cancellation. How to claim the paid money back?

Q: Dear sir/madam, My father (an Indian resident) bought a property from a developer in 2018 via resale from a Dubai resident. The project has been under construction all these years but now is showing under cancellation on the Dubai Rest app. All payments have been made from our side. What legal recourse can we take? And who do we approach in such a condition?

The contracts do not define where disputes could be handled. What to do?

Q: Dear sir/madam, We are a U.K-based company. We signed a contract with a U.K-based company and a Dubai-based company. Both of the latter companies are owned by the same owner - who moved to Dubai for tax reasons. We handled sales for his company. At some point, he breached the contract by making sales behind our back and so we terminated the contract citing breaches, and sent a pre-sue letter. Stupidly, our contract didn’t have a country clause for where disputes could be handled even though all contracted work happened in the U.K. In an attempt to beat us to the punch, the owner of the Dubai (and U.K.) company filed a lawsuit against us in Dubai. Here is my question: Would I not attend my first instance hearing and sue them from the U.K? Or do I risk it and defend in Dubai and counter sue there? I’m absolutely petrified to make the wrong move. Also what would happen to me personally if there is a judgment against me given I may ignore their proceedings?
