The eligibility to get a salary if the employee is asked to stay at home
Q: Dear sir/madam, I joined a new company in the UAE. One of my cards is still not approved to do work in a specific area so the company asks me to stay in a room after joining. I am still waiting for more than 50 days and the company is not paying me a salary. I asked them to give me work somewhere else and pay me, they are ask me to wait. How to recover money after being scammed for getting a job?
Q: Dear sir/madam, Someone in the UAE took money from my sister who is outside promising her a job in the UAE. He later sent her a visa (a visit visa that was edited to look like an employment visa) plus a fake air ticket. After my sister paid all money to this guy, she couldn`t depart from the home country since the ticket was fake. The guy now claims that he was scammed by another guy whom he refers to as the real agent. I am in the UAE. Is there anything we can do to recover my sister`s money? Questions & Answers

An employer is asking for visa expenses. Is that legal?
Q: Dear sir/madam, I resigned from my company last June 20 and served my notice period until July 29. My employer has asked me to pay for the visa expenses but I have refused to do so as the MOL told me I’m not obliged to do so. The company then filed a case against me claiming a large amount. The residency visa expired while looking for a job. What to do?
Q: Hi, I am in the grace period of 30 days after the resident visa expiry. My visa was valid till 30/08/2022 (Ajman residency visa). From 3rd October 2022 onwards, the government of the UAE is implementing 3 month grace period policy for residence visa expiry. My question is: Will I fall under this category after paying penalty for the few days from 29th Sept - 3rd October (Because my grace period will be over)?
