Q: Hi My employer has sent me the new limited contract and asked me to sign and submit it as it`s a new requirement of the MOL UAE. Q: Dear sir/madam, My previous employer has already canceled my visa and I have also got an offer letter from a new company. My previous company is still holding my passport and final settlement. I need my original passport to submit to the new company to start the employment visa process but the previous company is refusing to return my passport and the settlement money also. The company is saying that I need to change my visa status first then only they will return my passport. A visit visa is rejected multiple times. What to do?

Q: Hi, I traveled to Dubai for a job hunt on 02/12/2021 on a visit for 3 months then I got an extension visa (inside the country) from Abu Dhabi for the next 3 months but I did not exit from Dubai and re-enter as I do not need to exit if I have an inside country visa. All the process was done before the first visa expiry so there were no fines but when I was traveling back from Dubai airport, the immigration officer said that I OVERSTAYED and I have to pay a fine. When I showed him both of my visas then he again checked the system and allowed me to take my flight and I came back to Pakistan. Now I have applied 2 times for a 1-month visit visa in the last 15 days and both of them were rejected (from Sharjah and Abu Dhabi). I have talked to some travel professionals and they have said that immigration must have banned you to travel to UAE currently that`s why it is getting rejected. How can I confirm my ban status if any? Should I try 3rd time for a visa but this time it would be from Dubai? Please guide!

What legal action can you take against a beauty center for bad face treatment?

Q: I was asked to help a friend find some representation, in an application of legal notice, against a beauty center in Dubai. XYZ attended a facial appointment mid-Sep 22 whereby she suffered quite nasty chemical burns across her face as she undertook professional treatment. Apologies were given at the time and XYZ was led to believe that this skin reaction/scarring was quite normal but, symptoms would elapse over a month or so. 9 weeks later and the burns are still present, considerably so, and much to her horror and disbelief. She is obviously very upset. I wonder if anyone in this forum has experience in such matters to help/advise her on the process to take court/legal action against the salon. This salon is clearly not following the correct procedure, and without further treatment to remove her scars, she now carries this for life. I look forward to a few notes (perhaps on past experience) and the pricing structure of your fees, please.
