How to deal with a broker who keeps trying to increase rent?

Q: Hi, My broker has been trying to increase my rent beyond what is allowed by RERA for three years. They make it difficult for me to file a complaint, but eventually, they always send an offer that is in line with RERA`s calculator. They know that we will eventually renew the contract at the RERA-approved rate, but they still keep doing this every year. They waste my time and energy with long, pointless negotiations. We were surprised to find out that it had been rejected. The paper said that the owner of the document must collect the original copy from MOFA Sharjah. We were terrified because we had just asked someone in the Philippines to have his documents attested. Our question is, if we collect the documents from MOFA Sharjah, will the authorities take my husband? What are our chances here? Obviously, if we knew the documents were fake, we would not have submitted them to be attested.
