Questions & Answers
I took a loan from a friend and paid him in cash. He filed a police complaint for the money. What to do?
I took a friendly loan amounting to 3000 from my friend 3 years back, which I paid back a few days ago in cash as he was a friend.
Now, he is in desperate need of money and wants me to sell data to which I said no and I started avoiding taking his calls or answering him on WhatsApp.
He kept on asking for the payment which I already paid only a few days back. Now he has filed a police complaint stating mental harassment due to non-payment of the friendly loan.
He is using the WhatsApp messages that were sent before I paid the money.
What can I do now? And do I need to worry?

If you have already paid the loan amount to your friend and you have proof of this payment, such as bank statements or receipts, you should not be too concerned.

If you have made the payment and you have the proof that he received the same then no need to worry.
If he accepts that he received the payment in any mode of communication through WhatsApp, then it will be good to defend him.
