Employee's right to work for a client after resignation

I was working before with an outsourcing company that provides services in the government sector. I finished my visa with them and did not renew; I resigned.

The government sector asked me to join for employment. When I joined them, the contract between them was already finished.

Now, my previous company is accusing me that they lost the client because I joined.

What will I do?

Dear Questioner,

Good afternoon.

Thank you so much for contacting online.

Since you have completed your visa period and got cancelled from them, you have the right to join any other company.

If the contract between your previous company and the present company might have been ended for some other reason, they cannot in any way blame you for that.

So a claim for damages will not be possible against you.

Please contact me on 0556635526 or Whatsapp me at 0508575526 or email me at ar@alnassaradvocates.com if you need any further assistance or explanation.
