How to protect my rights during divorce as a Muslim woman?

Q: Dear Sir/Madam, My husband wants to divorce me, but he does not want to contact our Sheikh or anyone else. He said that I need to do that. If I do that first, will it affect me in the future? We have a son. I am not currently working. Is there any chance that they can take my child from me? We are both Muslim, and my son is of the same nationality as me (his father is a different nationality). In the case of divorce, is there any payment from the husband for the child? How should I act smart to avoid any issues in the future and keep my child with me? Where do I need to start? Kindly advise me! Do I need to have a lawyer, or can I do this myself? Single mother seeks sole custody of child due to father's neglect and threats

Q: Good Day, I am a single mother of a 5-year-old living in Dubai. The father and I have never been married, but I would like to file for sole custody and child support on the grounds that: 1. He only sees his child one weekend every two weeks. 2. He constantly drops off his child and refuses to pick him up, even if he hasn`t seen him in a while. 3. He has never paid child support. 4. He threatens the mother (me) constantly. 5. He threatens to leave the country. 6. He recently put a tracker in my son`s bag without anyone`s knowledge to find out where we live and invade our privacy. (A case was filed with the Dubai Police).

What can I do if my tenant refused the rent increase as per DLD valuation?

Q: I am a landlord and trying to increase the villa rent in accordance with the DLD rent evaluation certificate basis. 90 days before the current lease expires, I sent the tenant a registered mail and email along with a rental evaluation certificate asking to increase the rent as per DLD valuation. The evaluation certificate showed an increase of 40% in the current rent. My tenant refused the rent increase according to the DLD evaluation certificate and he told me by phone about 30 days before the end of the rent contract that he will deposit the rent with RERA without any increase in the rent. What are my options?

س: السلام عليكم، لدي حكم ضدي بسبب إصدار شيك بدون رصيد (سنتان حبس مع بطاقة جلب محليًا ودوليًا) صدر في سنة 2016. اعترضت وقدمت ما يفيد الخلاص الجزئي، المبلغ 450000 درهم دفعت منهم 435000 درهم، لكن لم أستطع الحضور في الاعتراض وتم الحكم كأن الاعتراض لم يكن. المستفيد من الشيك استغل وجودي خارج الإمارات ورفع دعوى شيك بدون رصيد رغم أني كنت أدفع له لخلاص جزئي ولدي إيصالات تفيد ذلك قدمهم المحامي في قضية الاعتراض لكن خفت من الحضور. سؤالي: هل يسقط الحكم الغيابي بمرور الزمن؟ ومتى؟ الحكم الغيابي في 2016 والاعتراض في 2016. شكرًا!
