Q: Hi, I am working in a private company as an engineer, I want to take a cafeteria on lease agreement from the owner. The owner will make a special power of attorney in my name for 2 years for running the cafeteria. Also, he will provide me with the bank account, atm, online username...etc. My question is: 1. Do I require NOC from my company to make POA? 2. Can I access the bank account if the owner grants me the POA although my name is not in the trade license? 3. After the POA, can I be a signing authority in the bank?

The consequences of missing credit card payments

Q: I have four credit cards; ADCB-2, HSBC-1 and FGB-1 and loan. ADCB credit card and loan I`m paying without any delay, but HSBC & FGB I paid last month after collection dept calls. My question is, next month I`m going on vacation. So will someone stop me at the airport immigration? Again, I want to say that. The beginning of this month, I applied for a top-up loan to close all my credit card outstanding. Today I received a call from ADCB that my application is declined. They are asking for a report from Etihad Credit Bureau. Does it mean they will file a case against me? Please, I need your advice.

We are submitting the relevant proof/documents like memorandum, emails...etc. They will be translated into Arabic, legal translation. The case also involves bank statements that show that we paid as proof. My question: Do we need to do the legal translation of all 24 pages of bank statements in Arabic? I asked the company PRO about EOSB, he said that as my rota was 2 months in Abu Dhabi followed by 2 months in Spain so I was then not entitled to EOSB. He said this was for employees who were in the UAE for 11 months a year. I am also paid an extra daily rate to my bank in Spain. Can you advise, please?
