Q: Hello Sir, I am working in Jebel Ali free zone as an accountant. The visa is on a 3-year contract. Currently, I am in the probation period. I would like to leave the UAE without informing the employer. Is it possible? If yes, what are the consequences I have to face?

Q: I am a Hindu married in India in Dec 2017. I came immediately to Dubai with my husband who is an NRI born brought up in Dubai. Soon I was pregnant, was sent to India for abortion against my will around Jan 2018. I came back to Dubai but my husband who stays with his parents insisted I go back for a few more days to India and sent me back around mid-February 2018, after which he cancelled my visa since he has abandoned me and wants a divorce. He says he has no money and cannot afford a separate house, his father is wealthy but he is a self-made person. My parents are refusing now to keep me any further at their home in India. How can I stay now, even forcibly, with my husband in Dubai? My inlaws who are hand in glove in the matter with my husband say that it`s their house and will permit only their son, not his wife. In such circumstances, what are my available options to legally force myself to stay with my husband? No divorce petition is filed as yet and I will never give a divorce to him.

Q: Hi, Last September I filed a case against my employer as he hasn’t given any of my settlement after my 2 years of service in their company. However, last November 2018 the court ruled in my favour, and up to date, I haven’t received any call from my previous company. Q: Labor Case I have not been paid 4+ months in salaries of 40,500. I have served in the company 5.8+ years to date. I am due to pending salaries, leave salaries for 51 days, gratuity and a personal balance of 54,000. My present company has been sold to another company and I have been requested to continue my job at a lower salary and demoted from my current position of General Manager which are terms of arbitrary termination. I have refused to sign stating I will not do so until my pending salaries and dues are settled. They have not terminated me nor have I resigned from my current position as I believe they are not legally authorized too. They have not transferred the TL to their names yet. However, they are sitting in our office and making transactions on behalf of the company and operating the bank accounts. The previous owner is unreachable both by email and phone. As per the above, what are my options to claim?

Notice period for early termination of tenancy agreement

Q: Hi, I am a tenant and my tenancy agreement ends in July 2019. However, due to some reasons, I have to vacate the place and make an early exit from the contract. My contract doesn`t say anything regarding pre-exit However, the annexure says 2 months notice.
