Bank settlement of credit card to avoid legal action
Q: I had a credit card balance of AED 71000 to a bank in the UAE. I asked and was given a settlement offer of AED 60000 (credit limit of card) for 12 months payment period which I started paying last Nov. 2018. On February 2019, our salary came late and I paid the bank on the 26 of February instead of 18 Feb due date. I was in communication with one of collection officer of the bank during that delay period. I made the payment on time in March and April of 2019. I was called by another collection officer on 5 May 2019 asking me for payment due on my card because according to her, my settlement offer had been cancelled. I had asked the bank for reconsideration because I had only a few months left to complete the payment. I`m waiting for response up to now. What are my options if the bank rejected my request?

Restitution of down payment after cancellation of the booking
Q: Hello! I bought an apartment in Dubai 1 month ago from a developer and the owner is [------]. A few days ago, the agent called me to say that there are some problems with the building named studio 101 and if I want to cancel my booking to come to the office. I went to the office and I signed the cancellation form. After a day, I found out that they closed the office so I went to DLD to file a complaint. I did and now nobody knows what happen or where my money is. I paid AED 120000 down payment and I was about to start paying monthly according to the payment plan. I want to mention that when I paid the down payment they gave me a receipt but never told me if the money went to the escrow account where they were supposed to go. Can someone help me, please? How do I get my money back?

Q: Dear Sir, I am a Dubai resident. I didn`t pay my credit cards outstanding amount from last December 2018 onwards. Actually one of my friends took from my card these amounts and he told me he will return back, but he cheated me. Now he told me he will sell his land in India and give me back. Compensation for an injury accident in a mall
Q: Greetings, I have a query that I hope you are able to answer. I had a fall/accident in one of the major malls in Dubai due to their gross negligence and injured my ankle. This happened 10 weeks ago, and I am still being treated for the injury. Replacing passport in a cheque case at the police station
Q: Dear Sir, I need to exchange my wife`s passport with mine at the police station. I had been arrested for house rent bounced cheque in Sharjah. By then, my passport had been taken for visa stamping thus her passport was kept in custody for my release. I still have a balance to pay and her visa is due for renewal.
