س: لدي مهلة قضائية لمدة شهرين لتسوية الوضع في 7 قضايا تنفيذ مدني منذ 6/14 وجميع الشاكين بنوك محلية وهم يماطلون ولم أستطع إنهاء أي منها إلى الآن. ماذا أستطيع عمله مع قضاة التنفيذ لتمديد المهلة مع العلم أن المهلة ستنتهي في 8/14؟

Q: I filed criminal charges of fraud against a Dubai resident in 2018 through a UK debt collector. The debt collector told me the criminal case had not been accepted, and so did the defendant. The debt collector may have filed a civil case. The defendant promised to pay me back and pressured me into withdrawing the civil case. I agreed and signed a waiver to withdraw the civil case. He sent me the waiver to get notarized. I live in the UK. However, I now suspect that the criminal case may have actually been accepted after all (without my knowing) and that the defendant tricked me into waiving my criminal and civil rights so that the court would be lenient. What can I do now? I would never have signed the waiver had I known the criminal case had been accepted. I presume I cannot file the same charges again? I have evidence in whatsapp chat of him saying there was no criminal case accepted.

س: السلام عليكم، لدي استفسار لو تكرمت بخصوص طلب الحالة الجنائية بعد إلغاء الإقامة والسفر وترك الدولة. بعد 3 شهور من ذلك قام البنك برفع قضية بمبالغ مسحوبة من بطاقة الائتمان تعذر دفعها بسبب فقد الوظيفة. السؤال: هل في حالة طلبي شهادة الحالة الجنائية بعد فترة مثل 3 سنوات لتقديمها للحصول على جنسية في دولة أوربية تطلب هذه الشهادة - هل تؤثر عليها قضية البنك أم لا؟ علمًا بأن الشهادة تصدر عن فترة مدة الإقامة فقط.

What to do if my friend is harassing me to pay the interest of a loan I took from him?

Q: I had a friend who had loaned me money of AED 3,800 with which I am paying interest for over 2 years now, as my financial state is difficult and promised to pay before the year ends.
