Sharjah, UAE

Will you get arrested upon arriving to the UAE for an unresolved rental case?

I just found out I have a rental case in Sharjah.

In the flat where I stayed, I had canceled the water and electricity and got a clearance certificate but did not complete the closing process with the landlord.

They automatically renewed the contract as per the old agreement and went legal. There is a judgment also from Sharjah court to pay 1-year rent of 28k and evacuate.

1. There are no pending cheques. Is this a criminal case or a civil case?

2. Will I have any issue when I land in Dubai on a visit visa?

Hi there,

It will be a Civil Case, but it is possible that there is a problem when you enter here in the UAE.

We must check the rental case or the judgment to see if you will be caught by police or face a travel ban.

Please contact us via Whatsapp/call.

Dear Questioner,

Pursuant to the query, you need to check if any travel ban is there for you. If you provide us with a POA, we can do it for you.

Further, we need to see the judgment and know the matter in detail to give you proper advice.

Kindly contact us on the phone or WhatsApp.

Thank You.
