Assistance with following up a case in the labour court
Q: Greetings!!! I have filed a salary complaint against my employer in the MOL on 01/07/2018 for not paying me the salaries for 9 months and giving all sorts of excuses from illness to lack of funds till date. Meeting my ends have gotten worse for me. After my complaint was filed to labour office a date was scheduled for amicable settlement by labour office which was attended by myself and the staff of my employer where after my case was referred to the court. My case file was handed over to me and I was directed to go to the appointed typing centres for filing my case. I have followed the process on 10/07/2018 but as the papers that I received are in Arabic I cannot understand what’s written and how to identify the case number. I have difficulties in managing even a small amount now so that I could translate the papers into English and follow further procedures. I don’t even know whether my case has been filed by the typing centre in the court or not. Could you please assist me further?

Cancellation of an employee from immigration while he's in detention
Q: Hi My employee is in the central jail in a case, and I cancelled his labour contract but not immigration, but in the labour contract cancellation application written a note to cancel the visa from immigration in 30 days. My employee in the police custody I don`t know when the police will release him. Now, what shall I do if I do not cancel his visa because I only cancelled his labour card for the WPS cancelation? Default in fulfilling obligations under off-plan property purchase
Q: I bought an off-plan property In Abu Dhabi and have paid some percentage as part of the flexible payment program for the down payment. However, no sale and purchase agreement has been provided to be signed by both parties. Construction did not commence and recently, the entire project has been moved to another developer. I have been contacted by the new developer and was told the project construction start date is indefinite. Based on this, can I get a refund as I only have the reservation agreement and no contract has been signed, plus the project has not started which will definitely not be completed in time (even with a six months delay allowance)?

Negotiating with the bank to restructure outstanding loan payment
Q: Hi, I have taken a loan from the bank worth AED 450000. I lost my job in 2016 and was unable to pay the instalments, then left Dubai. Bank people never contacted me and I left as I was unable to pay the monthly instalments. Now I am in India. I have got another job in Dubai and I am very keen on joining it. I contacted the bank through email asking their help to sort this, they asked me to call the call centre. When I called the call centre no one was able to help me, they just said "we will get back to you", but no reply yet. For 1 month, they are not able to help me. Now, I have to join my new job in Dubai asap, and unable to understand what to do. I am ready to pay half amount now and remaining half in instalments on monthly basis. But I don`t know whom to contact and how to get this sorted. PS: I don`t have any friend in Dubai who is ready to help me and go and negotiate with the bank on my behalf. I am just trying to call and sort on my own. Please help and guide me.

Q: I am divorcing my wife. She will have custody of our 3 children. My monthly salary is AED 20,000. I have a bank loan that I repay every month, and the repayment amount is AED 9,000.
