Termination of limited contract and non-payment of salaries
Good morning Sir,
This is A.K. Salaudeen from Umm al Quwain.
My labour contact was limited contract. Now, the company cancelled my labour contract and immigration also. But till now, I am not getting my 2 months' salary. What can I do?
My last date is 30.08.2018. He promised me daily he will pay tomorrow but till now I did not get any payment from his side. I completed 1 year from visa period.
Please advise me, what can I do?
Your first step should be to make a complaint at MOHRE (Ministry of labour).
You can call the toll free helpline 80066473 and even register a complaint against the company over the phone.
Post this, they will contact the employer and seek a specific timeline to settle your dues.
If this yet does not solve the problem you need to formally register a case against the employer and ensure you get the dues.
