Claiming labor entitlements from employer without employment visa

Q: I am an expatriate from India. I have received an appointment from my employer in April 2018 with an appointment letter as Sales Account Manager. The employer told me he will bring me to Dubai with a visit visa and then apply for employment visa when I start working. I joined the company on April 24th 2018 in Dubai and worked for 3 months and no employment visa applied by the employer for me. I generated business from customers from the market as per my job responsibility. As my visit visa expiry was due on July 22nd 2018, on July 20th 2018 I exit the country to India on their direction and came back again on a visit visa with the assurance of employment visa. Now, the company is not paying me the salary as mentioned in the appointment letter. I am working for the company without being paid any money. I feel that my position has been exploited by the organization for my blind faith in them. Is there any way I can claim salary from the employer legally, as I am working for the company?

Partners liability for bounced cheques issued by the director

Q: I am a 49% shareholder in a 10-year-old LLC Company. We have a separate Managing Director that has no shareholding in the company. I was out of the country for an extended period of 5+ months and recently returned to the UAE. 2 weeks after my return, I discovered that salaries had not been paid to staff for the month of July. I queried the Managing Director who was away on annual leave at the time. He told me the company was expecting money in. I then checked with the accountant who told me the company financials were in a dire situation and updated me on receivables and payables. After this, I discovered that several company cheques that he had written to suppliers had bounced and were in fact PDC`s, some of which had been issued several months ago. My questions are: 1. What recourse do we have against the MD for these liabilities? 2. What would be our best course of action to minimize shareholder liability?

Q: Hi, Good day. I have been working with a company for 5 years and a half. Then I applied for my resignation (with a 1 month notice period as per my contract) and my service ended on June 30, 2018. A month after, my manager contacted me and asked me to sign some "pre-termination" paper. When I asked about my gratuity payment, He mentions that I can get it within a month or two and that if I still didn`t receive it, I can still have grounds for complaint that I can submit to the Ministry of Labour. However, I still declined to sign any letter. They then just told me that they`ll contact me if ever the cheque is ready. My question is: - Was my action right by not signing any papers considering I had no guarantee of receiving my gratuity? - Also, since I`m still looking for a job currently (and I want to settle things amicably), is it an option for me to simply just wait it out until they contact me again with regards to my cancellation and gratuity? Q: I applied for a UAE visit visa and received the visa for me, my wife and a daughter, but visas were rejected for my son and another daughter.
