Labour proceedings for the non-payment of salary
Q: Hi I have been working in the UAE since Feb 2017 and I left my job on 31st July 2018 due to unpaid salary. I am on a free zone visa, valid until 2020 (Tecom: Academic City). Still, my one salary is pending and I also have not taken my yearly one month paid vacation for 2017 (as included in my contract). Now, the company wants to cancel my visa. I just want to know if they can cancel my visa without my signature. And am I entitled to receive one salary for my paid vacation that I did not take? Where should I go to file the complaint?

Legal advice for defending a criminal case of defamation and slander
Q: Good afternoon, I was involved in an argument with my neighbours due to noise from their side, the argument escalated and I called them names. During the argument, I called the police. When the police arrived, the involved neighbours had left already. The police said that I could file a complaint at the police station, but I didn`t. The next day, I received a call from the police informing me that they filed a complaint against me. The case is currently awaiting transfer to the prosecution. I was told not to try and contact the neighbours in order not to escalate it to a bigger case. It`s been almost 2 months and my passport is on hold with the police since then. I need your advice to solve this matter. Thank you

Settlement of loans and credit cards cases with the bank
Q: I unintentionally left the UAE in 2016 due a to family emergency with an unpaid credit card and a few loans. Since I have got confirmed by a Dubai based colleague that I have a police case already for bounced cheques cases. How do I go about the settlement from outside the UAE? I have heard of the fines imposed as well as bounced cheque criminal case has been demoted to a minor misdemeanour in Dubai. Involved banks are ADCB (loan of 120k), FGB (credit card - 70k), ENBD (credit card - 20k), HSBC (credit card - 13k) and CITIBANK (loan of 31k). Thank you for your help. Claim for the end of service benefits after termination for redundancy
Q: Dear Sir, I worked for a consultancy firm in Dubai from October 2015 to September 2018. I have several questions: 1 - I moved to Morrocco in Jan 2018 with the approval of my employer, I kept working with my employer and recieving monthly salary payments up until the end of September 2018. Then I received an email saying that I would be terminated due to economic reasons (I have the written proof as well as bank statements). 2- Upon my moving to Morocco, my salary was reduced from AED 21000 to AED 11000 without justification as to the reduction. 3- My employer refuses to pay my end of service as well as the salaries for September and October, as I have a 30-day leave notice which I have worked. Is there any legal recourse or otherwise I can seize to solve the matter as the employer doesn`t return my calls anymore and they do not reply to my emails. Bounced cheque case for a loan after paying the fine
Q: Hi I have got a call from Dubai Police last week regarding my cheque bounce which I issued to the bank due to default on loan payment on time. I paid a visit & they referred me to the prosecution & I got fine which I already paid and got clearance. I want to know if the bank can still file a case against me & I still need to contact the bank for settlement or case clearance. I am getting too many calls even after that, and the debt collector is actually harassing with the worst behaviour & back to back calls which actually ruined my personal life and put me in depression with high bp. Renewal of a partner's visa to avoid the loss of partnership
Q: A company has two partners P1 & P2, and P2 partner`s visa expired. In order to give the complete ownership to P1, P1 is hesitating to provide the money for the share by giving excuses of liabilities. P1 owns 75% share and P2 owns 25% legally approved by the government, but with an understanding between the partners, they came up with another contract by P2 having only 10% with no liability.
