I have a ban on my license, and I have overstayed here in the UAE.

Will that affect my other visa application to KSA?

Dear Questioner,

Thank you for your inquiry.

To confirm whether you have a travel ban in Dubai or elsewhere in the UAE, we can assist you with a comprehensive check for civil and criminal cases.

Required Steps:

Before we can initiate the legal process of a travel ban check, we will require a Power of Attorney (POA) to represent you before government authorities and police stations.

To facilitate the notarization of the POA, please provide the following documents:

- A copy of your old and new passports

- A copy of your visa

- A copy of your Emirates ID

Once we receive these documents by email, we will draft the POA in both English and Arabic and send it to you for review, signature, and return.

Afterward, the POA will be submitted to the federal Notary Public for notarization. The notary will provide a link for a remote meeting with you, during which your original passport will be verified, and you will sign electronically.

Costs and Process:

- Notary Fees: USD 165 (paid directly to the notary). You will receive a digital copy of the notarized POA

- Legal Fees for Travel Ban Check: USD 325. Once the notarized POA is received, we will check the UAE criminal record system for any criminal cases, travel bans, arrest warrants, or execution files registered against your name. This process typically takes about four working days.

We are here to assist you every step of the way. Please let us know if you have any questions or require further clarification.

Sincerely,

Mohammad Salah

Thank you for reaching out.

Overstaying your visa in the UAE and having a driving license ban could potentially impact your Saudi Arabia visa application, particularly if your overstay resulted in blacklisting or deportation, as immigration information is sometimes shared across GCC countries.

However, a driving license ban alone usually does not affect visa approvals unless it’s related to a criminal offense. If all fines are settled and you are not blacklisted, your chances may still be good.

To ensure your situation is fully assessed and to avoid any complications, I recommend scheduling a consultation where we can review your case in detail and guide you on the best steps forward. Please let me know if you’d like to arrange this.

A UAE ban and overstay can negatively impact your Saudi Arabia visa application, as KSA authorities may consider your immigration history during processing.

Dear questioner

The chances are less likely to affect your visa procedures in KSA unless the offense is a serious matter.

However, if you are in the UAE right at the moment, you cannot travel to KSA if the ban and fines aren't removed.

Dear questioner

Chances are less to have a problem with your visa procedures in KSA unless the case is serious of nature. If you need more details.

Kindly share your whatsapp number.

Yes, because your license is banned and you have exceeded the specified period here in the United Arab Emirates, this will affect your application for a visa to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

However, there are exceptional cases.

Please contact us to discuss the matter in detail.

UAE immigration or labor ban will not, by itself, prevent you from applying for a Saudi visa.

Your UAE ban might affect your KSA visa if any of the following apply:

A. Criminal Charges or Deportation

If your UAE overstay resulted in a criminal case.

B. Overstay with Heavy Fines or Exit Ban

If you overstayed and left the UAE illegally or have large unpaid fines, that could be flagged in future background checks if done by the KSA embassy or employer.

Thank you for contacting us via Legal Advice Middle East.

Your situation involves a combination of overstay and license-related bans within the UAE, and their possible impact on visa eligibility in another country, specifically Saudi Arabia.

We previously advised clients in a similar position, and the outcomes varied depending on the nature of the UAE ban and the visa system in the destination country.

A UAE immigration overstay or driving ban does not automatically block you from applying for a visa to Saudi Arabia, unless there is a criminal case, deportation order, or GCC-wide alert against your name.

However, certain types of bans—particularly those issued by immigration or criminal courts—could be flagged during background checks conducted by KSA authorities.

The most strategic step is to confirm whether your UAE ban is limited to the country or linked to a wider GCC security alert. If there is no active criminal or deportation alert, your KSA visa application is not likely to be affected.

At RASHID ALKAITOOB ADVOCATES & LEGAL CONSULTANTS, we can assist you in verifying your UAE status and advise you on clearing overstay fines or lifting restrictions to avoid future complications.

For precise advice, we would need to review your UAE immigration history, visa type, and the exact nature of the driving ban. Our multilingual consultants are available in Arabic, English, Russian, Hindi, and Chinese to guide you clearly.

Thank you for reaching out with your concern. Having a ban on your UAE license and an overstay can indeed have implications when applying for a visa to another country, including Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Saudi immigration authorities often check your immigration history in other Gulf countries, and issues like bans or overstays may affect the approval of your KSA visa application.

However, this situation is not necessarily permanent or insurmountable. You can explore options to resolve the ban and overstay consequences here in the UAE by regularizing your status or applying for cancellation and clearance procedures, which will strengthen your position for future visa applications.

Given the complexity and importance of this matter, I recommend you appoint me to handle your case.

I can assist you in navigating the UAE immigration system to lift or resolve the ban and provide guidance on your KSA visa application process to maximize your chances of success.

Please feel free to reach out to me, Suhail Rana, on WhatsApp or phone so we can discuss your case in detail and take the right steps forward.

Dear Client,

A driving license ban in the UAE typically does not affect your Saudi Arabia visa application unless it is related to a criminal case.

As for overstaying in the UAE, it may cause complications if your status is unresolved or if you have received a GCC-wide ban.

To avoid issues, I recommend settling any fines and regularizing your UAE residency status before applying for a KSA visa.

If you need assistance verifying your status or resolving overstay fines, please let me know. I am here to help.
