Labour ban for resignation before completing one year

I have got a 1-year ban because of leaving my previous job in 6 months and now I have an offer letter from a new company.

They are going to process my visa under unskilled labour which was the same in my previous contract. I want to know if this gets rejected, will I have any legal claim against the company who offered me a job?

Also, they took my visa copy, passport and Emirates ID copy even before issuing me an offer letter. So I assumed they would have already checked my eligibility to apply for a new visa.

If there is a labour ban, you will not be able to join any other company during that period.

However, if the ban was imposed by a company in Mainland Dubai, the same does not apply to a free zone company.

So if this new company is in a different zone, then you may get the visa.
