Procedures and duration of a labour case

Good day everyone!

Can anyone help me to find out some question of mine? Thanks in advance.

Since I am new in Dubai Courts, I had a couple of questions.

I filed a labour case in MOHRE regarding non paying my salary for 3 months. MOHRE accepted my complaint and they refer me to the court.

I filed a case in the court which is my first hearing is tomorrow. Now, my questions are:

1. What would happen on the first hearing?

2. Is there's a 2nd hearing?

3. How long does a labour case take in the court?

4. Can I claim my compensation if my employer appeals in court?

Thanks to who will help me.

Dear questioner,

In the first hearing, the court will send summons to the employer. There will always be a second hearing and a third hearing also.

Normally it takes three to four months if the employer objects. You can claim even if he appeals, but you have to win the case.
