How can I know the reasons for rejecting my Golden Visa four times?

Nationality: British

Born: Sialkot, Pakistan

I have now applied for the Golden Visa four times (once from Sharjah and three times from Dubai), but the "committee" rejected my applications despite my meeting all salary and academic requirements.

We visited Al Jaffiliya and Awir centers multiple times. They advised me that my applications were always approved by the Golden Visa office and Immigration, but they were rejected by the "committee."

There is never any reason mentioned in the system, so immigration assumes it is rejected by the "security department". There is no ban or any bad past immigration history.

My name is a common Pakistani name, and it matches a few other people in their system, but they think it has nothing to do with a name mismatch.

I am on a valid work visa and my visa gets renewed every 2 years without issue. My family (wife & 3 kids) have also been living here in Dubai with me for the last 8 years.

Any idea what could be the issue and how can it be resolved?

What should my next steps be?

Thanks

Dear Questioner,

Thank you for reaching out and providing the details regarding your Golden Visa applications.

I understand that despite meeting the necessary requirements for salary and academic qualifications, your applications have been rejected multiple times, even though they were approved by the Golden Visa office and immigration.

Based on the information provided, there are a few factors that could be contributing to the rejection of your application:

Name Similarity: As you mentioned, your name is quite common, and there could be confusion in the system due to the similarities with other individuals.

While it was stated that this might not be the issue, it could still be a factor for further review.

Security Department: The rejection being due to the "security department" is a concern. Unfortunately, as no specific reason is provided in the system, it is difficult to pinpoint the exact cause.

However, it is possible that this is related to a broader security clearance process, and any flags or issues may not necessarily be linked to your personal history but rather to broader security checks.

Documentation Review: In some cases, even when the documentation appears complete, there can be errors or delays in processing. It's also possible that administrative factors may have impacted the final decision.

Recommended Next Steps:

Request Official Clarification: I recommend formally requesting clarification from the Golden Visa office or relevant immigration authorities regarding the specific reason for the rejection.

You can submit a written request through their official channels to understand more clearly why your application was rejected.

Engage with an Immigration Specialist: Given the complexity of the issue, I suggest consulting with us as a lawyer who can directly engage with the authorities on your behalf.

We will be able to assess the situation in more detail and potentially expedite a resolution.

Security Clearance: If the issue stems from the security department, it is crucial to request more information and possibly undergo a thorough review. Providing additional documents or undergoing further checks may resolve any flagged concerns.

Review Your Travel and Immigration History: It’s important to verify that there are no misunderstandings or flagged issues with your immigration history under a similar name. Double-checking this can help rule out any inadvertent matches in the system.

I understand that this situation can be frustrating, but we will work together to pursue the appropriate channels and ensure that the application process moves forward smoothly.

Please let me know if you would like me to assist with submitting an official inquiry or taking any additional steps.

Best regards,

Mohammed Salah

Thanks for your reply.

Do we know who the committee is and how to contact them?

11 Feb 2025, 07:11

Unfortunately, the contact details of the "committee" that reviews Golden Visa applications in the UAE are generally not publicly disclosed.

This committee is typically an internal body within the government, and its deliberations are confidential.

There's no publicly available phone number, email address, or website to contact them directly.

But you may try through the portal.

Thanks for your reply. That question was to understand how your office was planning on getting the reasons behind refusals from them.

Dear Client,

Thanks for your question!

I hope you are doing well. I will assist you in this matter.

Your Golden Visa rejections by the "committee" despite meeting requirements are unusual. The lack of specific reasons suggests potential security concerns, possibly due to name similarity or undisclosed flags. To address this:

1. Request a detailed explanation from immigration authorities

2. Consider hiring a UAE immigration lawyer to review and potentially appeal

3. Inquire about obtaining a security clearance certificate

4. Explore alternative long-term visa options

5. Seek assistance from the British Embassy

Ensure all documents are accurate and properly attested. Verify you meet the two-year experience requirement with your current company.

Given the complexity, professional legal assistance may be necessary to navigate this situation effectively and identify the specific issue causing rejections before reapplying.

You can contact us via WhatsApp for further clarification or additional support. We are dedicated to providing professional, timely, and comprehensive assistance tailored to your situation.

Thank you,

Thanks for your reply. I had the clearance certificate that I attached with my applications. It was all clear.

I like the Appeals option. Assuming I appoint your office, who will you appeal to as I have tried raising multiple complaints and nobody seems to respond.
