Hi,
Good morning!
Amnesty programs in the UAE are typically designed to provide a grace period for individuals who have overstayed or violated visa regulations to rectify their status without facing penalties.
However, the eligibility criteria and specific terms of these programs can vary.
A lawyer can help negotiate with the authorities to potentially reduce penalties and immigration issues.
We have experts in immigration laws.

Dear Questioner,
Yes, individuals outside the country can potentially avail themselves of amnesty programs in Dubai, even if they are absconding.
These programs are often designed to encourage individuals who have overstayed their visas or violated immigration laws to come forward and regularize their status.
Dear Questioner,
Whether a person outside their home country can avail themselves of an amnesty program depends heavily on specific national regulations regarding absconders and existing amnesty provisions.
Legal counsel is strongly recommended throughout the process.

Dear questioner,
If the person is outside the country, the current amnesty program is intended for those residing in the UAE. However, we can try, with the help of the visa sponsor, to remove the absconding status.
Dear Questioner,
Thank you for your inquiry!
Before we can initiate the legal process of a travel ban check, we will require a Power of Attorney (POA) to represent you before government authorities and police stations.
To facilitate the notarization of the POA, please provide the following documents:
- A copy of your old and new passport
- A copy of your Visa
- A copy of your Emirates ID
Once we receive these documents via email, we will draft the POA in both English and Arabic. We will then send it to you for your review, signature, and return.
Afterward, we will submit the POA to the federal Notary Public for notarization. The Notary will provide a link for a remote meeting with you, during which your original passport will be verified and you will sign electronically.
You will cover the notary's legal fees and obtain a digital copy of the notarized POA. Please note that the notary's fees amount to USD 140.
Upon receipt of the digitally notarized POA, we will conduct a check on your criminal record system in the UAE to ascertain if there are any criminal cases, travel bans, arrest warrants, or execution files registered against your name.
This process typically takes about four working days, and our professional legal fees for this service are USD 320.
Please let us know if you have any questions or need further assistance.
Best regards,
Mo. Salah
