Q: I worked for my previous company based in TECOM, Dubai (Free Zone) for 3 years, during which period we had a lot of salary delays and got accumulated over time. By the time I resigned, 4 months and around 3 weeks salary were pending along with my settlement amount. Usually, all the amount need to be settled before the visa gets cancelled. But they convinced me (verbally), since there is no cash with the company at the time, that they would pay my pending amount as and when the salary is processed for the rest of the company. For that, they gave me a signed letter mentioning the total amount that the company owes me; but since my departure, 2 salaries have been processed in the company and I am yet to receive any. I have been regularly following up with them by mail and have only received "wait" response so far. Does this amount to cheating from their end? What are my legal options? Note: The company has been sued before for similar cases regarding payments by ex-employees / suppliers.

Q: My employer is constantly delaying the payment of salary. I don't want to spoil the relationship with him, but I want to know if his actions are legal and if he could pay the parts of salary throughout the whole month. Q: Dear Sir/Ma'am I need advice about what procedure I can follow in my situation. For over a year I’ve been working at my company. My employer delays our salary, and when he gives it's only a partial amount, not a full month salary. He always promises he'll give the balance on the next salary, but after that again he gives partial payment like 500, sometimes 1,000. He hasn't given the salary for 2 months now, and yesterday Nov 11 2018, I asked for my balance salary from the previous month of Sept. and this month of Oct. Instead of giving me, he said I'll not give the salary because there's no money. This is my boss' drama every time we ask for the salary. Now I decided to stop work until I get paid.
