Do I need my husband's approval to work if I am under his golden visa sponsorship?

Hello,

My husband is sponsoring me with his Golden Visa. Will I be independent from him? Meaning, will I need his approval to work or to do anything?

Can he cancel my visa in case of separation?

Dear Questioner,

You might need your husband's cooperation to obtain a work permit and renew your visa when it expires. In case of separation, your husband could potentially cancel your visa.

It's vital to have open communication about this and a clear plan regarding visa sponsorship if things don't work out.

If you need further clarification, kindly share your WhatsApp number.

Hello,

As a dependent under your husband's Golden Visa, you may have certain restrictions on your independence in terms of working or making important decisions.

However, you can still work in the UAE by obtaining a work permit from your sponsor (your husband).

If you are experiencing a separation from your husband, he theoretically has the authority to cancel your visa.

This could be a complex situation and it is recommended to consult with legal experts in the UAE to know your rights and options in such circumstances.
