Is it permissible for employees to sign a bond in order to fulfil their minimal obligations?
Is it permissible for employees to sign a bond in order for them to fulfill their minimal obligation to the organization in the UAE?

This depends on the nature of the obligations that the employee agrees to undertake.
Sometimes the employee’s obligations are to produce a specific number of goods, and in this case, the employee must adhere to this number.
However, in many cases, the employee is committed to the number of working hours only without achieving a specific number of goods.

It is not recognized in law, however, the employer can include the same and ask their employees to sign the bond, however, enforceability will be challenged in court.
What kind of obligations?
