Questions & Answers
What can I do if the landlord evicted me and then rents the apartment for a higher price?
The owner sent me an eviction letter a year ago and told me that he would not rent it again. I’ve asked multiple times if he was going to rent it and increase the price, but he said no.
I finally moved and after 3-4 weeks, I saw that he already put the apartment to rent with an increased fee. Is he allowed to do this?
From the beginning, I was praying to stay as the location was convenient for my work.

Thank you for reaching out with your concern regarding the eviction notice you received and the subsequent actions taken by the landlord. I understand how frustrating and concerning this situation must be for you.
Based on the information you've provided, it appears that there may be a discrepancy between what was communicated to you by the landlord and their actions afterward.
In Dubai, landlords are generally required to follow specific procedures when evicting tenants and when determining rental terms, including any increases in rent.
To provide you with accurate guidance and assistance, I would need to review the details of your lease agreement, the eviction notice you received, and any other relevant documentation.
Additionally, it's important to assess the local rental laws and regulations to determine whether the landlord's actions are lawful.
I encourage you to gather all relevant documents pertaining to your tenancy, including the eviction notice, any correspondence with the landlord, and your lease agreement.
Once you have these documents ready, I would be more than happy to schedule a consultation to discuss your legal options and provide you with personalized advice.

Greetings.
In the event of eviction for housing, maintenance, or otherwise, he may not offer the building again for rent.
Keep the evidence in which he says that he did not rent it again if you wish to file a lawsuit against him.
