What can we do with a company if they refuse to pay us after providing our services?
Hello,
We rendered a service to another company. Based on the contract, they have to pay us 30 days after the service is completed.
It has been now 64 days since we rendered the service. They still haven't paid us and have stopped answering.
Is there anything we can do?
They are still fully operational in the UAE.
Based on the information provided, it appears that the company you had a contract with has violated the agreement. Here are the steps we would recommend:
Send a legal warning: Draft a formal letter warning the company of their breach of contract and give them a deadline to fulfill their obligations.
Make sure to send the letter through a reliable courier service, such as Aramex, to confirm delivery.
Set a reasonable deadline: Specify a period of five days for the company to comply with the contract in your warning letter.
Choose the right lawsuit: After the deadline expires, you can take legal action. You can file either a performance order or a financial claim lawsuit, depending on the nature of the breach and your desired outcome.
