Questions & Answers
How to exit an LLC partnership when other partners disagree?
Dear Sir/Madam,
How to exit a partnership when the other two partners are not accepting my exit?
It’s an LLC company in Dubai mainland, and my share is 33 percent.
Dear Inquirer,
The withdrawal of a partner from a company is usually governed by the company's MOA, often requiring approval from other partners as specified in the MOA.
If there is no consensus among partners, you can sue the company and the partners before the court to decide on the matter and to order the sale of your shares, either to a partner or a third party.
Please note that all required formalities must be completed to officially document this withdrawal in the company registry for evidentiary purposes and to protect yourself from any future responsibility towards any third party.
