Can I claim my unused air ticket money after resigning and joining a new company?
Dear Sir/Madam,
Unused Vacation Ticket: I resigned from the company after 2 years of working, but my company is not giving me my unused air ticket money.
I am not leaving the country, and I am working in a new company now.
Can I claim the air ticket from my previous company?
Dear Questioner,
The employer must provide a return ticket in the event that the worker actually returns to his country and not just leaves work.
Article 131 of the Labor Law stipulates the following:
At the end of the contract, the employer shall bear the expenses of the worker’s return to the place from which he recruited him or to any other place that the two parties have agreed upon. If, after the end of his contract, the worker joins the service of another employer, the latter being the latter.
Commitment to the worker’s travel expenses upon the end of service, and taking into account what was stipulated in the previous clause, if the employer does not deport the worker or does not meet his deportation expenses, the competent authorities shall do so at the employer’s expense, and this authority may collect what it has spent by means of seizure.
