Q: Hello all,
I was working under an unlimited contact on an LLC company for about a year in Abu Dhabi. Since I started working, I haven’t got paid on time.
So after a year, I resigned from the company by emergency resignation whilst I had 2 months' pending salaries.
Now it’s been 49 days since I submitted my resignation and my company is delaying my payments, though my work permit has already been cancelled by them.
So can anyone give some advice to take further actions?
I’m currently staying on my notice period, so is it ok to file a case against them? Will it take longer?

Q: Q. Visa Cancelled, the grace period is about to finish while there is a pending case in the court against my employer.
Good evening.
I have cancelled my visa, and the grace period is about to end in a week, while I have a pending case in the court against my employer.
Can I get permission for overstay to avoid the fine and blacklisting?
Can I engage the services of a law firm if I cannot do it by myself?
Politely requesting to assist me, please. I am in a big trouble.

I was working for a company where 100% owner is local, and I was not getting my salary for last 3 months. I was chasing them so much, for this reason, I resigned. Still, they are not paying me the salary, I filed a labour complaint.
Currently, my financial situation is getting worse. I would like to ask only one thing: how long is the process of a labour dispute under this salary delay case?

Q: Hi Ma'am,
My company did not pay my final settlements till now as I resigned from August 2018.
I filed a case in MOL and I am waiting for the court judgement paper. My visa was cancelled in August and now I'm overstaying in the UAE.
Please clarify my question. If my company did not pay this overstay fine, what action do I need to take?
I want to go to my home country. I am not changing any job here.

لدي قضية عمالية مع شركتي السابقة مُسجَّلة بتاريخ 16-12-2019 وانتهت إقامتي بتاريخ 24-12-2019 أثناء سير القضية العمالية ولدي عرض عمل من شركة جديدة.
السؤال هو: هل يمكن عمل إقامة من الشركة الجديدة قبل صدور الحكم دون التنازل عن المستحقات ودون صدور حرمان؟
وهل هناك غرامات على الفترة من تاريخ انتهاء الإقامة لحين صدور الحكم؟

How to cancel visa and remove overstay fines after getting labour judgment?

Q: Hi,
I had a labor case and the judgment came. The company has to pay my dues. My issue is that I have overstayed for the last 3 months.
I filed the execution already in order to get my dues from the company. I requested my company to cancel my visa. But they are not canceling me.
What can I do in such a situation like this?
Is it possible to cancel my visa by myself?
If yes, do I need to pay the overstay fine?
Is there any possibility to avoid the fine?

زوجتي كان لها إقامة عمل على شركة شحن في دبي والإقامة صدرت لمدة سنتين ولا نعرف طبيعة بطاقة العمل لأنها أول مرة نحصل على إقامة عمل لأنها حديثة التخرج وأنا طالب دراسات عليا وإقامتي إقامه طالب على الجامعة ولم يسبق لنا إصدار إقامة عمل من قبل.
اكتشفنا أن صاحب العمل قدّم على طلب بطاقة العمل وحينما صدرت الإقامة لم يكمل بقية الإجراءات ولم يخطرنا بذلك واكتشفنا بعد فترة انتهاء الرخصة التجارية الخاصة بالشركة ورفض صاحب العمل تجديد الرخصة. طلب منا أن نتكفل بالغرامات المقررة على الشركة بسبب عدم صدور بطاقة العمل.
عندما سألنا في وزارة العمل قالوا هذه مطالبة غير قانونية ويلزم صاحب العمل أن يدفع هذه الغرامات. وحتى إذا تكفلنا نحن بدفع هذه الغرامات، فلن تصدر بطاقة العمل لأن الرخصة منتهية. الآن نريد إلغاء إقامتها من الشركة وفوجئنا أن الغرامة وصلت 2000 درهم.
صاحب العمل يطالبنا بدفع الغرامة لكي يلغي الإقامة ويرفض إلغاء الإقامة إلا حينما ندفع الغرامة المقررة على شركته هو وبسبب غلطته هو. هل هناك حل لهذه المشكلة؟

I have a valid residency visa until November 2024, but my company is closed and the owner has just left the country.
Also, the company's trade license is going to expire next month, April 2023.

Filing a case for wrongfully encashing a guarantee cheque 0
3 years back I had given a post-dated cheque as a guarantee to a person whom I had to pay the money.
In 3 years time before the due date of the post-dated cheque, I had paid him partially by cash and cheque for which I have his signed vouchers and the PDC cheque details.
He was supposed to return back my PDC on the due date and collect the balance amount that was around AED 4000. The cheque value was AED 115,000.
On the due date, he demanded more money from me and when I refused, he bounced the cheque and filed a cheque bounce case.
He said I gave him a cheque of a closed bank account when he asked the money back and claimed the full amount. I was arrested and had to pay the fine for the cheque bounce case.
With the agreement I have with me and the payment voucher proof, can I sue him back for the false accusation?
And can I claim compensation for spoiling my name and image?

Salam,
I was working in Dubai and I needed a 50k loan from the company. My boss told me to do him a favour and take a 700000 loan from the bank then take 50k.
I said how. He planned everything and deposited 30k salary on my account and verify from HR and accounts.
The bank agent gave me the loan he paid instalments almost for one year and then he terminated me and said don't worry we will pay your loan.
After I came back to Pakistan, they are paying but after 3-4 months like that, the recovery company calls me in Pakistan daily. what can I do?
If I come to Dubai and make a case on my boss, will the bank help me or I have to hire lawyer?

My neighbour brother went earlier to Dubai for packing work in a hotel for 2 months. Due to the condition of work & not getting a proper salary, he decided to resign from his job.
When he intimated the same to the employer they said he should pay AED 4500 before leaving & his own ticket. He is from a very poor background that's why he came for AED 900 salary.
But he gets actually 750 only without food. Need your kind support to help him to come back to India.
