Used director's ID for real estate deal; agency denies payment

Dear Sir/Madam,

My broker card/ID, which is used to create contracts, was still being processed when I made my first deal using the director's ID, as he was the only one with an active and ready-to-use ID.

Now, the agency is refusing to pay, claiming that the deal wasn't done by me, and their proof is that it's not under my name.

How can I respond to this?

Dear Questioner,

You have to justify the reason for using the director's ID.

Dear Questioner,

According to UAE law, a broker must have a valid broker card/ID in order to conduct any real estate transactions.

If your broker card/ID was still under process at the time of the deal, you may face some challenges in proving that you were the one who conducted the transaction.

However, you can still provide evidence to support your claim that you were the one who conducted it.

This can include any emails, messages, or other forms of communication between you and the agency or the client, showing that you were the one who negotiated and finalized the deal.

You can also provide any documents or agreements that were signed by you and the client, as well as any other evidence that shows your involvement in the deal.

If the agency still refuses to pay, you may need to seek legal advice and take legal action to protect your rights and claim your commission.

It is important to gather all the necessary evidence and documents to support your case before taking any legal action.

In the future, it is important to ensure that you have a valid broker card/ID before conducting any real estate transactions to avoid any disputes or challenges.
