Questions & Answers
I have a misdemeanor case. Is it possible to get a guarantor and leave Dubai?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have a misdemeanor case, and the lower court has already given a verdict in my favor. Now the case is in the upper court.
Is it possible to get a guarantor and leave Dubai? As of now, I only have a travel ban, and I am on a visitor visa.

Dear Questioner,
It is not advisable to leave Dubai while you have a pending case in the upper court, even if you have a guarantor.
It is better to consult with us to advise you on how to proceed with your case.
We need more information about the case.
Dear Questioner,
With a travel ban in place, leaving Dubai, regardless of your visa status, is unfortunately not possible.
The ban restricts your departure until it's lifted by the relevant authorities.
The application for a guarantor can be considered, but the decision will be at the discretion of the court.
Dear Client,
Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will assist you in this matter.
Leaving Dubai while your misdemeanor case is in the upper court and you have a travel ban depends on the specifics of your case and the terms of the ban.
Generally, travel bans restrict departure until resolved. It might be possible to secure a guarantor to leave temporarily, but this is subject to the court's discretion and the ban's terms.
Consult with us for guidance, comply with legal procedures, and avoid attempting to leave without proper permission to avoid legal consequences.

Dear Questioner,
You can try to submit the request for accepting a guarantor on the basis of stating your emergency reason or the purpose of your travel.
The court may consider the same after checking the gravity of the matter.
If you need our assistance in your matter, please share your WhatsApp number.
Dear Questioner,
We are pleased to serve you and address your inquiries.
Upon reviewing your query, in the event that a judgment is rendered in your favor and an appeal is lodged by the public prosecution, there is likely to be a travel ban in place until the resolution of the case.
However, you have the option to submit a request to nominate another sponsor who will be subjected to the travel ban on your behalf or to provide a financial guarantee determined by the court to lift the travel restriction against you.
If you need any other clarification or you need help in this matter, we offer to provide complimentary consultations to assist you with your legal matters.
This can be facilitated through a 15-minute online consultation session.
To schedule your consultation, kindly contact us via email, or contact our offices in Dubai or Sharjah.
We appreciate your understanding.
