How to act against the employer who does not approve my resignation after serving notice period?
Hi!
I have a 3-year contract in the free zone. I have worked for more than a year and gave in my resignation but my employer is refusing to approve even after serving 2 months notice.
Please, what can I do?
Dear Questioner
If the employer refuses to cancel the visa and labor card even after serving the resignation notice and not settling the dues, you can approach the free zone authority and complain to the authority for the same.
If the matter is not solved there at the free zone, then you can approach MOHRE.

You can submit the resignation and serve the notice period according to your employment contract.
You are required to follow the terms and conditions mentioned in the contract itself. If he didn't approve, you may get in touch with the free zone authority first and follow the procedure.
If you need further clarification, we will arrange a legal consultation session. Share your WhatsApp number if you want to proceed with us.

If your employer in a UAE free zone is refusing to approve your resignation despite serving a two-month notice, start by reviewing your employment contract for compliance.
Try to resolve the issue through HR or management communication. Consider mediation services provided by the free zone authority.
If all else fails, consult with us and if necessary, file a complaint with the labor court as a last resort.
