Questions & Answers
Terminated without notice: 1 month salary, no return ticket. What are my rights?
Dear Sir/Madam,
My company terminated me involuntarily and suddenly, and now they are offering only one month's salary instead of three.
I want my rights as they are not providing a ticket for me to return home.
Dear Questioner,
Termination by your employer is permissible only after serving the notice period specified in your labor contract.
Your employer is not authorized to withhold your salary. The expense of a ticket cannot be claimed unless explicitly mentioned in the contract.
Dear Client,
Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will assist you in this matter.
If your UAE employer unexpectedly terminated your job and is only offering one month's salary instead of the agreed-upon three months, you might not be getting what you're owed.
Check your job contract and the UAE labor laws. Contact your HR department to understand the situation better. If you're not being treated fairly, consult with us to help you get the compensation you should receive according to the law and your contract.

Dear Questioner,
You will be eligible for all the benefits mentioned in your employment contract. And regarding the compensation for a 3-month salary, you will be receiving it only if the reason for termination comes under the category of illegal termination.
And if they are not providing the benefits mentioned in your employment contract, you can file a complaint against them in MOHRE.
If you need further clarification, we will arrange a legal consultation session for a charge.
