Can resigning through MOHRE cause a Dubai visa ban for new job?

Hi,

I have a visa from a private company in Dubai. I now have an opportunity in a different field.

What is the company notice period, and if I resign using a government website like MOHRE, will I face a ban in Dubai?

Dear Client,

Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will assist you in this matter.

If you wish to resign from your current job in Dubai, you should follow the notice period specified in your employment contract.

The consequences of resigning, such as an employment ban, depend on your contract type and whether you have completed your contract term.

You can use the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE) portal to submit your resignation and request visa cancellation without facing a labor ban in certain cases.

For any further legal assistance, you can WhatsApp us. We have an extensive team of knowledgeable and experienced lawyers to provide the legal assistance you need.

We will be happy to help you.

Thanks & Regards,

ABDUL WAHIED

Dear Questioner,

You are required to send a resignation letter and serve a notice period as mentioned in your contract.

If you are facing any issues with the resignation, you can file a complaint in MOHRE.
