Q: I got a personal loan from a bank for five years, then I received a job offer from the Gulf. I travelled and continued paying my instalments from there, but five months ago, the company terminated me as a part of their budget reduction and I couldn't pay anymore, but still looking for a job. In addition, I submitted a case against my company to claim my unpaid salaries and benefits upon termination, and I may not be able to resume my payments before I find a job or get my money from the company. I want to know if I have a case filed against me. I contacted the bank when I missed the first instalment and told them, and they said that they will impose a late-payment fine for the first three months, and after that, all the instalments will be due.
