Lent money with court agreement: Borrower not answering calls. What to do?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I need advice on how to move forward, as I lent $100,000 to a person with whom I had an agreement in court.
This person was supposed to return my money by May 2023, as per the agreement.
However, I am going through a financial crisis, and I have asked this person to return my money, but he is not answering my calls.

Hello,
If you have a repayment commitment from your debtor regarding a financial amount, and the due date has passed without payment, you can send a notice to that person urging them to settle the payment within at least 5 days.
If they fail to comply, you have the right to file a case (Payment Order), and the court will rule in your favor, obliging them to pay the amount along with legal interest, charges, and expenses.
Dear Questioner,
We need to review the agreement terms and after that, we can plan whether we need to file a suit before the court or arbitration.
If you want us to review the contract and initiate legal proceedings to recover the money, please provide your WhatsApp number.

Dear Ahmed,
Hope you are doing well!
Kindly note that we can manage your claim starting with a legal notice and then go to court in case of no reaction.
However, you can provide us with the full documents to be reviewed and then we can set out the plan.
Our services would be charged based on hourly fees of AED 1,500 for partners, 1,200 for associates, and 400 for paralegals, however, we can offer a fixed fee.
