Getting a new employment visa after leaving without cancellation
Hello Sir,
I was working for a free zone based company in Dubai for 2 years and 6 months. Then I went on vacation in 2017 March (my visa expired in Oct 2017) and I didn't come back to the UAE.
Sir, now I came to the UAE on a visit visa. Is it possible to get a new employment visa or there's a ban on the new employment visa?

With reference to your inquiry, kindly be informed that most of the times, leaving the residence visa without cancellation (till its expiry), causes a ban for the relevant person.
However, that is not taken for granted, as sometimes (ONLY SOMETIMES) depending on a case-by-case basis, the authorities still grant the said person a new visa.
What I do recommend, is to apply for a new visa and see what will happen, since that is the one and only way to let you know the exact outcome.
